History of the Foreign Mission Board

Organized in 1880 as the "Foreign Mission Convention of America" the Foreign Mission Board is now the official foreign missions arm of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.   From humble beginnings consisting of 151 delegates from 11 states, the Foreign Mission Board supports mission stations in 11 countries in the continent of Africa, the Caribbean and Central America.
